Reverse Confetti October Blog Hop!

Hi there and welcome to my blog!
I'm happy to join Reverse Confetti today in a new fun Blog Hop..

Here's what I created.. I'm warning you guys.. there's festive stuff from now on! ihih!!

I made a couple of Christmas cards, super simple design but they are so bright and festive, I totally fell in love with them!

The stamp set I'm showcasing here it's called Joys of the Season and it has beautiful Christmas themed images.

I started by making my card bases out of white cardstock and I added some dry embossed details with my scoring board.
Then I stamped, colored and die cut all the images and stamped my sentiment on to the bottom of my cards.

Here I'm showing you a little tip to create a fuller holly image. I stamped, colored and die cut 2 holly images, I partially stuck them and then I went on to the white border of the top image with my copics to fill in all the gaps. I did the same with a fine tip black marker ( like the copic multiliner) and as you can see it blends everything together so nicely!

Back to my card design, I masked my sentiment areas and inked the tops by sponging the Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink over the Pinstripe stencil by Heffy Doodle. I let everything dry completely and then I added some gold sparkle watercolor splatters here and there.

I glued all my images down with foam tape and then I added some details with a white gel pen + some gold glittered embellishments.
For all the little dots I die cut some Lawn Fawn gold glitter paper with the Stitched Circles cover panel Reverse Confetti cuts and for the stripe on the other card I actually used a washi tape I found at a local craft store, but I'll search for a similar product and I'll link that down below ( also you can cut a little stripe of the same LF gold paper!).
