Today i created another festive card to wish all of you a beautiful and happy new year!
Here's what i created..
Few days still and then we'll have to say good bye to 2016.. and welcome the new year 2017!
So i thought i could make a little card to celebrate and i created this cute festive scene with these super lovely critters by Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp.
I combined lots of stamp sets and i'm so happy about how well and perfectly they go together!
The mice are from the "Merry Christmouse" exclusive stamp set by LF&SSS 2016, then i stamped some accessories from the "Happy Howlidays" stamp set ( another LF&SSS exclusive 2017), the dachshunds are from the "Happy Howloween" stamp set, the pine branches from the "Frosty Fairy Friends" set and the number are from the "Queen's 123s" stamp set.
Here are some details.. and if you wanna know how to re-create this pretty card.. keep reading! ihih!
First of all i die cut the largest stitched rectangle by LF twice and i created a little hill with the stitched hillside borders die. I colored the other rectangle with distress inks to create my background. I sponged some Peacock Feathers, Broken China and Chipped Sapphre inks, blending them together starting from the bottom to the top.
Then i stamped all my images in Memento tuxedo black ink, i colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinated dies. For the pine branches i used the Jalapeno ink by Lawn Fawn, it's the perfect touch of green i needed!
I started to combine all my elements together and i drew some details on all my images with a white gel pen.. i also created a polka dot pattern on my sock! Love those little presents hangin off .. a little bone for the dogs and some cheese for the mice.. sooo super cute and fun! ihih!
I also added lots of Wink of Stella here and there and on to my 2017 numbers to give them extra shine and interest!
Finally i stamped my sentiment on my hill in black ink, combining the "happy" and the "new year" from the "Toboggan Together" stamp set.. i loove these 2 fonts together!
I glued all my pieces with regular glue and the card is ready! :)
Ops i forgot to say that i also drew some snoflakes on my inked background to make my scene snowy and super wintry!
I looved this challenge soo much! So sorry this will be the last one..!
