It's peonis galore with Reverse Confetti!

Hello there crafty friends!

Here I am stepping out of my comfy zone again by creating a flower card with the Peony set by reverse Confetti!
I'll be honest.. this set scared me a lot in the beginning! Cause there's a giant flower and lots of leaves and everything about it is beautiful and so precious, but it's just something I would have never thought that could fit me...

Well, I follow each and every little tips from Yana Smakula on how to create a floral background kinda card and here's how my project turned out..

Isn't it impressive?! Guess Yana teaches right, ahah!!
First of all I stamped, colored with copics and die cut all the flowers and leaves, then I added some more details with colored pencils to my peonies.

I created a dark blue background with Distress inks and I glued down all my images with foam tape, creating this wow patterned paper feeling :)
I added some white dots here and there and then I cut out a stripe of white cardstock, stamped my sentiment ( from the Sentimentally yours set) on it and glued it down with some liquid glue.

Finally I added some details to my images with a white gel pen and some embellishments as Nuvo white drops here and there to complete my card.
I'm so impressed on how it turned out!!

Sunny Studio's 4th Birthday Blog Hop!

Hello there and welcome to the Sunny Studio's 4th Birthday Blog Hop!

Today I'm so super happy to celebrate Sunny Studio with lots of talented friends and designers and to show you some peeks of the new fabulous "Winter and Christmas themed" release!!

Here's my first Sunny Studio festive card of the season for you to enjoy..

How cute is this Santa on his sled bringing gifts and a Christmas tree too?! eheh!!
First of all I created my white background by dry embossing the new Buffalo Plaid 6x6 Embossing folder onto a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed it to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and I glued it down to my white cardbase.
Then I die cut 2 square tags using the biggest die from the new Scalloped Tags Square Dies out of white cardstock and I die cut the first with the Woodland Borders dies and inked up the second one with distress inks to create a dark blue night sky. Then I added some white dots with a white gel pen to mimic snow.
I used the partial die cutting technique to end up with just a scalloped square die cut and not a tag but you can easily use the bottom tag part for the snowy hill and hide behind it the top part of the sky tag.

I stamped, colored with copics and die cut with their coordinated dies some of the images from the Santa Claus Lane set, placed them onto my square panel and as I was happy with the placement I glued everything down with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape.
Then I adhered down my scalloped square panel and stamped part of the sentiment on the bottom left corner.

Finally I die cut the other part of my sentiment using a die included in the new Layered Snowflake Frame die out of some gold glittered paper and glued it down with liquid glue.
I added some more details with a white gel pen to all my images and the card is complete.
I love love looove making Christmas/Winter cards and I'm so happy about how it turned out!!

Hello Bluebird September Release showcase Day 4

Happy friday everyone!
Welcome to Day 4 of the Hello Bluebird September Release Showcase, it's the last one and today I'm sharing a Fall themed card.

First of all I created my own patterned paper by stamping the Buffalo Check background stamp onto a piece of white cardstock with a light yellow ink, then I created my white cardbase and added some tiny watercolor splatters on the front.
Then I die cut my handmade patterned paper using the Gallery Frame 2 die set.

I stamped, colored with copics and die cut all these cute images from the Fall Banner Buddies set and I glued everything down with foam tape and liquid glue creating this fun design with the frames.

Finally I stamped my sentiment from the new Banner Blessings set and added some White Nuvo drops as embellishments.

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello Bluebird September Release showcase Day 3

Happy wednesday everyone!
I'm happy to share another too cute to spook Halloween card today, that features the new Little Haunters set by Hello Bluebird.

Aww look at these cute critters all dressed up for Halloween!!
I mean that hedgenhog all wrapped up in bands.. isn't it the cutest thing ever?! And Of course the mini spider is my fave, ahah!
For this card I had fun creating a special backdrops using the Petal Play Background set. I stamped it with a soft lilac ink and added some watercolors ( black and gold) splatters here and there.
I stamped, colored with copics, die cut with their coordinated dies all my little critters and added some details with a white gel pen as I usually do.

I die cut a white polaroid frame using the Photo Stack die set and glued everything together using liquid glue + foam tape.
I stamped my sentiment onto a thin stripe of white cardstock and added it to my design with a stripe of black glittered washi tape I found at a local store (fab!!).

Finally I added some Tonic Black Nuvo drops here and there to complete my Halloween masterpiece, eheh!!

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today!
