Pop-up Shadow Box cards with Heffy Doodle!

Hello there and happy wednesday!
Today I'm sharing a couple of pop-up shadow box cards made with all Heffy Doodle goodies!

Here's the first one featuring the lovely otters from the Otter side set.
This interactive card is so much fun and easy to make, hope you're inspird to craft along!

First of all I cut out 2 rectangles (6 1/4 x 5 1/2  inches) out of white cardstock and added all the score lines.
You need to score both sides of both rectangles at 1/2 inch and 1 inch.
First fold from the center of the card needs to be towards the center and the second away from it. Then I flipped one rectangle upside down to be the front of the box.

I die cut my window using the Stitched Circles Dies on the center of my front shadow box rectangle.
Then I inked the inside of my back shadow box rectangle with Broken China Distress ink oxide, placed my Wave to me stencil on top and went over with some Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch Distress ink.
I stamped all the images, colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinated dies.
I added some details with a white gel pen and glued them down to my card.

Some of them are floating and for those, I glued each of them to a thin stripe of acetate and secured it just to the end little 1/2 inch card flap on the left or right. This way the ended up in the center of my shadow box, adding lots of interest and dimension to the scene.

I also glued the front and the back of my card together and you have to put adhesive just on all the 1/2 inch flaps once again. As you'll pull them gently the images will move back and forth :)
Finally I added my Hello sentiment at the bottom

Now onto my second card.. this one is full of happy monkeys from the Chimply the Best set.

I created my card base just as I did for the otters card but I stamped, colored and die cut these cuties instead.

For my background here I used Twisted Citron Distress ink oxide and Crushed Olive distress ink on top of the Fancy Foliage stencil.
Also the little present at the bottom is form the Otter side set.

I'm so happy about how these cards turned out I can't even pick a fave, ihih!!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 75: A peek-a-boo spectacular skies card!

Hello there and happy monday!
It's finally time for a new challenge over at Lawn Fawnatics so be ready to bring all your favorite Lawn Fawn goodies out and play with us!

This is the new theme..

I went interactive with my project this time and I made a card with a little window sky that changes from day to night..!

First of all I created my interactive peek-a-boo card mechanism following a Jennifer McGuire's tutorial.
You can see here, I created a prehistorical fun scene with a gorgeous sunset sky on the front and a starry night sky on the inside!

First I masked the top front of my card and inked the bottom with Twisted Citron and Crushed Olive Distress Inks. I also added some little spatters here and there to give my grassy ground more interest / dimension and stamped some dino pawprints on the bottom right corner. I did the same with the inside of my card too.
Then I stamped, colored with copics and die cut all the images from these sets: Critters from the Past + coordinated dies, Butterfly kisses + coordinated dies.

As you open the card you can see the starry night showing up and it's so much fun!
I added some details to all my images with a white gel pen and glued everything down on to the outside and inside of the card with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive.
Then I created my skies by inking 2 squares of white cardstock with Distress Inks and glued them down too.
For my day sunset I used Squeeze Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Picket Raspberry; for my night sky I chose Salty Ocean, Blueprint Skecth and Chipped Sapphire.

I also decorated my sky with lots of stars aka little Gansai Tambi Starry Colors splatters!
I stamped all my sentiments and added 2 little hearts from the Oh Gnome set I stamped in Guava ink and die cut + some clear sequins here and there.

Hope you like this card as much as I do and you are now inspired to create.

"You're flamazing" card with Sunny Studio!

Hi there!
Today's project is a flamazing one with Sunny Studio, eheh!!

Aww these flamingos from the Fabulous Flamingo set are so adorable!!
I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting them, then I added some details with a white gel pen.
I also die cut my panel out of white cardstock using the Frilly Frames Stripes set and create a coordinated cardbase out of light blue cardstock.

Then I inked a piece of white cardstock with Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon Distrss Inks, I blended them together nicely, let them dry completely and stamped all the leaves and flowers on top, with a darker green ink, to create this fun and soft patterned look.
I die cut a circle window out of my panel and backed it up with the background I just created.

Finally I stamped my sentiment at the bottom, glued down my critters with foam adhesive, added a little confetti heart at the top and mounted my decorated panel onto my light blue card.
Can't wait to mail this card and make someone smile!!
