A new mini Heffy Doodle serie: Stripe it down!

Hello darlings and welcome back to my blog!
Today I have another mini serie for you to join and be inspired by :)

I'm using all Hefy Doodle goodies and I called it "Stripe it down!" because it features a fun design where the whole scene is concentrated in a stripe on the center of the card ..

Awww I love them so much!
It all started with a card that Lesley made during her crafty live where she masked part of the card and just decorated a half. I were inspired to stretch that design a little and then I added lots of images and had fun creating something completely different in the end, but that has the same idea behind :)

So I created 2 standard size card bases out of white cardstock, cut out 2 stripes of white cardstock that are 2 by 4 1/4 inches and 2 stripes of kraft paper that are just a little bit wider.

Then I colored one white stripe with Picked Raspberry Distress ink + the Confetti Heart Stencil and the other one with Twisted Citron Distress ink oxide + the Rain on my Parade stencil.

Then I stamped, colored with my copics and die cut all the images from these sets: My little angel + coordinated dies, Quack me up + coordinated dies and Quill you be mine + coordinated dies.
I backed up the colored stripes with the kraft ones and I glued them down on the front of my card bases, in the center.

Then I decided to add another fun sentiment feature so I chose a sentiment from each set and I replaced a word with a giant one made out of  the Rascal Alphabetters set + coordinated dies.
I arranged all my little scenes and then glued everything down with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive.
Then I also added some clear sequins and lots of details with my white gel pen to all my images.

Finally I stamped the other parts of my sentiments on the sides and my cards are ready to make someone smile!

I'm so happy about how they turned out, full of all these fun features and I hope you are now inspired to create with all your Heffy Doodle goodies too!

Lawn Fawnatics challenge 79: An Happy Birthday on the farm interactive card!

Hello there and happy happy monday!

Time for a new challenge over at Lawn Fawnatics and the new theme is...

Making interactive cards is so much fun, especially with all the Lawn Fawn sets that are especially made for!

So I decide to put my Magic Picture Changer set to use and I crated a fun Happy Birthday card on them farm when the background switch from day to night and back to day, night, day...!

Awww look at all these adorable farm critters!
First of all I stamped, colored and die cut all my images from these sets: Hay There + coordinated dies, Oh Gnome + coordinated dies, A birdie told me + coordinated dies.

Then I created my interactive mechanism out of white cardstock and colored my backgrounds with Distress inks. I used Spiced Marmalade + Picked Raspberry for the day and Peacock Feather + Salty Ocean + Blueprint Sketch for the night.
I also added some sparkle watercolor splatters to my sky to make it full of litte stars, it's magical!
I was inspired by my Dino Peek-a-boo card for this :)

Then I created my standard size cardbase out of white cardstock and covered the front with the largest stitched rectangle I cut out of of kraft cardstock.
I aldo die cut the stitched mechanism frame and the little arrow detail out of some wood patterned paper from an old LF collection and the largest panel from the small dotted rectangle set out of this gorgeous yellow patterned paper from the Spring Fling petite pack.

I mounted the mechanism and glued it together with double sided adhesive and then I added my wood frame and all the critters with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive.
Then I secured down my scene to the yellow flower panel and glued everything down onto the front of my card with foam tape.

Finally I added some clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and lots of details with a white gel pen to all my images.
I'm so happy about how this card turned out and I hope you love it as well.
It makes me smile a lot with all these cute critters :)

Be sure to have fun and play with us to win a happy prize!

"Hello foxy!" card with Lawn Fawn!

Hello beautiful people!
Today I'm sharing a super cute card I made with an oldie but goodie Lawn Fawn set, inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge.. enjoy!

Aww... do you recon these adorable images?
If you are a Lawn Fawn lover from the beginning you sure do!
These cuties are from the Critters in the Forest set that was release around 10 years ago I think, I wasn't even crafting, but I discovered Lawn Fawn a few years later with this and some other sets and I kept them all this time with me :)

I created this card inspired by my latest Lawn Fawna project and the instruction are pretty much the same.
First of all I created my cardbase out of white cardstock and I cut out 2 coordinated panels ( 6 and 1/4 by 4 inches).
I colored my first panel by sponging some Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China Distress Inks, then I stamped, colored and die cut all the images from the Critters in the Forest set. I also added some images from the following sets: Butterfly Kisses set + coordinated dies and A birdie told me set coordinated dies.

I cut out a stripe out of my second panel and added some dry embossed details with the Stitched Borders set, then I glued it down to my colored panel and secured them down to the fron of my card.
I glued down all the images too with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive and added lots of details with a white gel pen.
Finally I added some sparkling clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh to my scene and this card is ready to make someone smile!

I'm so in love with it and I hope you like it too :)
This card is up on the Lawn Fawnatics Blog too so be sure to stop by there and leave me some love, thank you!
