"I thank my lucky stars" card with Heffy Doodle!

Hello there!

Today I'm up un the Heffy Doodle blog, showcasing the new Hootiful set along with some other products from the new release!

All the new products are soo very amazing that I can't pick a favorite, just look at these cute owls!!

First of all I created my cardbase out of white cardstock, then I inked the front with Distress Ink over the new Crosswalk stencil to create this fun patterned paper feel background.

I love this stencil, it's so clean and simple :)

Then I stamped, colored and die cut all the images.

I cut out a stripe of white cardstock and I colored it with Distress Inks to create a sky nigth look, I glued it down on to the fron of my card and I stamped the sentiment.

This sentiment makes me giggle sooo much, it's adorable!!

I glued down all the images with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive and I also added a thin stripe of silver glittered cardstock to my scene.

Finally I added more sparkle with the Wink of stella clear brush and lots of details to my images+background with a white gel pen.
