Today I'm happy to join some super talented designers and friends to bring you another Heffy Doodle Blog Hop full of fun, inspiration and prizes!!
I'm totally in a Christmas mood these days so I made a festive card using lots of the new products, grab a cup of tea ( chocolate's better! ahah!) and keep reading!
I completely fell in love with the adorable mammut from the Prehistoric Pals as soon I saw it long ago and I though it would have been super cute on a Xmas card...
This was the perfect occasion to make a prehistoric little Christmas scene!! ihih!
First of all I created my background: I cut out a standard size panel out of kraft cardstock and I inked it up with Distress Ink usind the new Stoney Maloney stencil.
I kept the stencil in place and I put everything in my Big Shot with the embossing mat to create a soft dry embossed pattern.
I also cut out some stripes of white cardstock and I inked one at the top to create my sky and cut out 2 snow hills out of the other to give my critters a place to stand on.
I stamped, colored and cut out all the images ( U'll find all the stamp sets I used and all the copic colors listed down below in the supplies list) and I started gluing everything down on to my panel.
I also mounted my panel on to a white card base.
I colored a little stripe of white cardstock with my red copic so all the colors coordinate, I let it dry completely and I stamped my sentiment with the Versamark ink, then I embossed it with the White Puff embossing powder by Wow.
I glued my sentiment too and I added lots of glitters to all my scene ( I love this effect and it's super simple to achieve - u only have to carefully apply the liquid glue with a finte tip applicator and let some glitter sit on for few seconds, gently shake the excess away and let it dry! )
I also added some details with my white gel pen and some snow here and there made with my Tonic Nuvo Drops in white.
