"You're one in a melon" card - Happy YNS Release Blog Hop!

Hello there!

It's finally time for the Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop! 

I'm having so much fun with lots of the goodies from the new release, there are so many new stamps sets, dies and so much more!! Some of my favourite are One in a melon, Photo booth and the new polaroid and watermelon stand alone dies are super fun! Lots of the stamps sets also featured some of the iconic YNS cute critters and it's so much fun pair them with older set u already have to create even more projects for every occasions!

Here's what i created..

This card make me so happy!! That little bird is the cutest and i added some googly eyes to make it even more funny! 

I created my card base using white cardstock and i colored it sponging some distress gently starting from the bottom left corner and blending to the top.

I stamped my little critter from the new One in a melon stamp set in memento black ink, i also stamped the little watermelon ice cream and i colored them with copics. 

I cut them out ( and for a perfect result u can also use their coordinated dies that are avaiable separately) and i added the googly eyes to the little bird. 

Then i die cut lots of watermelon using the new stand alone die, i colored all the elements with distress inks and i assembled them to create these beautiful slices. 

I glued down all the elements n to my card creating this fun pattern and i added a little interactive element to the bird - it wobbles!! I love the effect and combining the interactive elements with the googly eyes makes it soo cool!! ihh!!

Then i stamped my sentiment to finish up the card.
