A couple of Christmas cards in May with ME!

Happy tuesday crafty friends!
Got a chance to craft for fun last saturday night and colored a couple of images from the FA LA LA set by Mama Elephant. These caroling and dancing critters are the cutest ever!

Today's is so rainy, it's grey and cold so.. of course the Christmas inspiration kicked in and I made a couple of christmas cards!

I created y backgrounds with distress inks, I just got the uncharted mariner ( new to me!) and I love this rich blue, it's so vibrant!

Creating Christmas and festive cards makes me soo happy, hopefully the weather will stay a tiny bit cooler for a couple more days so I can create more - eheh!

Thanks a lot for stopping by today, hope you like these festive cards!

Halloween pumpking cards with Mama Elephant!

Hi there and happy tuesday!
Today I'm so excited to share these cute Hlloween cards I made with Mama Elephant..

Awww look at these pumpkins, arent' they the cutest ever?!

So I had my eyes onto the Favor Bag Accessory - Pumpkin by Mama Elephant for a very very long time and I finally got it some time ago and it makes me so happy!
I love this little pumpkin and all the little face/ expression combos you can play with.
Here I ink blended all my pumpkins to give them extra dimension and interest and of course I had to give them rosy cheecks - eheh!

For my background I created an ink blended purple sky, then added lots of little gold, white and dark purple splatters and I die cut the Winter Forest Cover from white cardstock.
For the sentiment I chose a digital image from Echo Park Paper designs.

Hope you like these too cute to spook cards as much as I do and thanks a lot for stopping by today!

Fireside Christmas tags with RAM!

Hi there and happy wednesday!
Today I'm sharing a couple of cute Christmas tags featuring the lovely Fireside Christmas Design by Rachelle Anne Miller..

This cute little girl, all the stockings and the little kitty cat?
Aww this Christmas scene is soo sweet!

There's something special about these and it is that I colored them digitally!
Since was the first time coloring a digital stamp digitally for me I went simple with plain colors and just some highlights and it was so much fun!
I find I'm really more confident when I'm drawing and coloring digital way vs coloring an already ready to use image..(don't know why -it's weird!) but I'm looking forward to get better at it, cause these designs are so lovely.
Of course then I resized the images, printed them out and turned them into little clean and simple tags.
Hope you are now inspired to create something festive!

Hello there and happy monday!
Today I'm sharing this cute bday card I made with the Beach chickies set by Mama Elephant..

Aww these summer cuties are so adorable!
My favourite is the little mermaid one at the right bottom but the one with the flaming inflatable is so much fun too!

I created my simple background with Spiced marmalade distress ink oxide and colored all my little chicks with copic markers.
The sentiment is from the Wishes enclosed set and was stamped with kiddie pool ink by Lawn Fawn.

A cute Mama Elephant gatefold card!

 Hi there!

Today I'm sharing this cute Mama Elephant gatefold card..

First of all I created my cardbase by cutting a piece of white cardstock that's 8 and 1/2 inches by 5 and 1/2 inches and folding it at 2 and 1/8 from each side.
Then I cut another piece of white cardstock that's 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2  and inked it up to create a custom scene for my critters.

I cut this panel at 2 and 1/8 and glued my 2 panels onto the front panels of my cardbase. You could also decorate the front of your gatefold card directly if you're using a very thick cardstock.
Then I stamped my images from the You Raise Me Up set, colored them with copics and die cut them out with their coordinated dies.

Finally I stamped my sentiment inside the card - I chose one of my favorite from the Inside Birthday Messages set.
I added a couple of sequins here and there and the card is completed!

It's tea time with Mama Elephant!

 Hi there!

Today I'm sharing some little gift tags, made with all Mama Elephant goodies..

I love this little cat and his very mice friend hiding behind all the cups, they're so adorable!

As I saw this image I knew I had to create a little tea time gift tag: it's the perfect little gift to go along a yummy box of biscuits!

First of all I die cut the main tag body out of white cardstock and light blue cardstock. Then I die cut the little pocket out of more white cardstock.
I used the Gift Pocket Tag - Creative Cuts set to make these and it's one of my fave, so unique and there's also a die included on the set, that cuts a little panel you can stitch on if you like!

I stamped my image from the My Favorite Person set, colored it with copics and die cut it with its coordinated dies, then stamped my sentiment and assembled the gift tag with strong double sided tape.

Finally I added my image with foam adhesive, some twine at the top, a little heart and these tags are ready to wish "Happy Tea Time" -with Mama Elephant - eheh!
Of course I did every step twice to create 2 tags and I can't wait to make more!
