A couple of Christmas cards in May with ME!

Happy tuesday crafty friends! 

Got a chance to craft for fun last saturday night and colored a couple of images from the FA LA LA set by Mama Elephant. These caroling and dancing critters are the cutest ever! 

Today's is so rainy, it's grey and cold so.. of course the Christmas inspiration kicked in and I made a couple of christmas cards! 

I created y backgrounds with distress inks, I just got the uncharted mariner ( new to me!) and I love this rich blue, it's so vibrant! 

Creating Christmas and festive cards makes me soo happy, hopefully the weather will stay a tiny bit cooler for a couple more days so I can create more - eheh!

The sweet strawberry set is the newest mini set and it's amaaazing! Today I created white chocolate covered strawberries but I can't wait to create dark chocolate ones and add sprinkles, it's like owing a little patisserie - eheh!

"Joyful Snowman" winter frame with Art Impressions

Hi there and happy friday! 

Today I'm sharing a little frame I made to decorate for the upcoming winter season with the adorable Joyful Snowman set by Art Impressions.

Aww look at this little guy, he's so happy he makes you happy! 

I love he's dressed up for the festive season and I had so much fun watercoloring him :)

Of course I followed the packaging image as my coloring guide ( cause I love it!) and I'm so happy about how my snowman turned out. Now I can't wait to color all his friends in the set - eheh! 

I paired him with some snowy watercolored trees and I kept my frame design really simple, just watrcoloring a bright blue sky as my background. I tought about adding snow but then I realized my favorite part about a snowy landscape is enjoying it with a lovely bright blue sky and the sun shining :)

It just snowed for the first time all around my town and I'm wondering if we'll get snow this year.. for now I'm just creating snowy scenes at my desk ;)

**Please notice, I remove the glass out of my frame just to be able to take pictures :) I actually recommend to frame it with glass to protect your piece and flatten it out if your paper got a little warped by using watercolors without taping it down onto your surface first  - as I always always do.. eheh! 

With this little winter frame I'd love to enter the Art Impressions November Monthly Guest Designer Challenge
