Hello there and happy week end!!
I just received some Lawn Fawn goodies from the new release and I inked them up and created a card!! I couldn't wait! ihihi!!!
Look at these cuties form the new Smooth Sailing set!
I went for a Nautical style card here and it's making me dream about summer and all those beautiful beach homes I usually see in magazine-dream houses!!
First I stamped, colored with my copics and die cut all the images. Then I die cut some of the frames and just kept the inside (stitched rectangles) and I colored them with distress inks.
I went for a dark and rich color that's a combo: Salty Ocean + Chipped Sapphire.
As you may notice I use the partial die cutting technique to make the center "rectangle" bigger.
Finally I created my cardbase out of white cardstock and I dry embossed the front just using my scoring board and tracing orizontal lines at each 1/2 inch.
I stamped my sentiments at the bottom and glued down all the elements with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive.
Finally I added some details with a white gel pen, little bit of sparkle with the Wink of Stella clear brush and some sparkling clear sequins.
