Hi there and welcome back!
Easter is coming this week-end so I created a little Happy Easter set to give to my mom! :)
We like to create a cute "mise en place" every time we can and Easter is perfect! So I bought some chocolate bunnies and I created some placecards for our table!
I like creating placecards, I think it's a little special gift for everyone invited! I always notice these detail when I'm inivited too and I always appreciated it! :)
This year I finally got this super pretty stamp set by Lawn Fawn and I can finally stamp all my cute bunnies!!!
Here's a detail... I stamped my sentiment on the back and my mom will write our name on the grass! :)
I don't have the grassy border die so I created this little fringe to create a lawn to my bunny! I stamped directly my bunny on my stitched circle, I colored him with watercolor pencils and as always Nichol Magouirk does I added some dots to make him more realistic and interesting!!
Then I stamped another bunny on same masking tape, I cut it carefully to protect my image and I I put some distress ink to create my sky.
I wanted a soft and delicate background so I choose pastel colors for my jellies!
Then I created my tag with the other bunny included in the set..
I want this to be delicate and soft too so I created a simple scene with my fringe but I added some dimension to make it original!
I cut my "speech bubble" and I stamped my "happy" on the second tag. I always add another white tag behind the one I decorated to let people some space to write. This time I sponged some tumbled glass distress ink to create a little sky inside the bubble and I'm really happy because it turned out super original!
As Kelly Marie does in some Lawn fawn videos I glued only the bottom of my bunny and then I put some foam tape behind his ears so he really seems to pop-up from the grass!
Challenges:
I hope you like it and thank you sooo much for stopping by today!
Happy Easter! :)
